STEPHEN HAWKING AND FLYING SAUCER

Unidentified Flying Object is any aerial object or may be optical phenomenon not readily identifiable to the observer. UFOs became a major subject of interest following the development of rocketry after World War II and were thought by some researchers to be intelligent extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.

The first well-known UFO sighting occurred in 1947, when businessman Kenneth Arnold claimed to see a group of nine high-speed objects near Mount Rainier in Washington while flying his small plane. Arnold estimated the speed of the crescent-shaped objects as several thousand miles per hour and said they moved “like saucers skipping on water.” In the newspaper report that followed, it was mistakenly stated that the objects were saucer-shaped, hence the term flying saucer.

The world’s leading scientist Stephen Hawking, on his new documentary said that Extraterrestrials are almost certain to exist but instead of seeking them out, humanity should be doing all that can avoid our any contact with them. It is his latest thinking on some of the universe’s greatest mysteries.

    Alien life, according to him, is almost certain to exist in many other parts of the universe, not just in planets, but perhaps in the centre of stars or even floating in interplanetary space. The universe, he points out, has 100 billion galaxies, each containing hundreds of millions of stars. In such a big place, Earth is unlikely to be the only planet where life has evolved. He concludes that trying to make contact with alien races is “a little too risky”. He said: “If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans.”

    Similarly, Lord Rees, the astronomer, warned in a lecture that aliens might prove to be beyond human understanding. He said “I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can’t conceive. Just as a chimpanzee can’t understand quantum theory, it could be there are aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains”. So from today whenever you see towards the sky, notice the very strange object out there who knows that may be the UFO.
